So, do you think Dr, Phil is a real doctor? Think again...he let his license to practice psychology lapse in 2006 because he wanted to become this sensational talk show host. Get this...Dr. Phil was under investigation in 1989 regarding an inappropriate relationship with a patient and he never held a license in California where his show was filmed. The guests were pressured into coming on the show by the producers promising their lives would be changed in a good way, and they would be sent to the top care facilities. Many producers and workers on the show would not listen to a 16-year-ol when she told them that she changed her mind. She did not want to talk about how her brother molested her. They told her that if she dd not do it, the show will not pay for the family's ticket back home. They were ushered in and out like cattle and they only met with Dr, Phil once they appeared on stage. Once the segment was over, they were sent some and most without seeking treatment. The producers even placed a bottle of Vodka in one guest's room so he would come out on stage drunk.
